Stephen Small Salmon is a full-blood Pend d'Oreille, actor, storyteller, drummer, and teacher. He has dedicated his life to preserving this native language, teaching Salish for over 25 years. Small Salmon is a member of the Salish/Pend d'Oreille culture committee and one of the elders of the tribes. He sits on the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes (CSKT) Climate Change Advisory Committee with fellow tribal leaders.
